Politics is for show.  Government is for those who wish it not to be or those who wish it to be too damned much.  Those who live the authoritarian look for things that keep them back, look to debase the powers of anti authoritarians, look to exploit broken systems, look to insulate, manipulate, misdirect, leave the game resting on issues of empty passions tilting at manipulated windmills, public dispositions with promises of stale bread and rancid circus.

The frameworks, the visions of the public square are simple to basic folk.  Attack, slap, kick, burn. ...  action pointed at targets of opportunity, targets of necessity that move the mountains of public disdain. Grand anger is a necessary beast best served when not diminished, best served as that which takes up air and time, serves no one and policies raw that are born in division.  The tripe of gamesmanship is about winners, whiners, dumping grounds.  There is room for nothing more.
