The good fight is to side with that which mitigates best.  That is if democracy is your taste.

It is important to realize that to many fine patriots the number one and eternal enemy of the people of these forcefully united states it is the forcefully uniting central government that is the eternal tyranny.  When said government plays towards either its own dissolution or towards establishment of the singular authoritarianism of the anti authoritarian red white and blue bloods tempers soften some.

Distrust of government is a rational exercise of rational people who must always be concerned with checks and balances to surreptitious capricious unchecked powers, private, public.  Distrust of power is a rational exercise.  Views of governing systems are also open to rational discussion.  Secession from our system is an action of those who hold it not dear .... who see more the promise in oligarchical padron states than in a mitigating whole.

Balances swing over time.  Loyalties go where the survival instincts, the power instincts go.  Mitigation of interest is a good thing for some, a bad thing for others.  The good fight is to side with that which mitigates best.  That is if democracy is your taste.
